Job Summary

The Global Startup Pipeline team is responsible for helping 40+ accelerator programs source the highest quality startups around the globe. The Pipeline Lead will be responsible for program sourcing support, pipeline coordination, sourcing events management and founder pipeline marketing, including using analytics for decision making and inbound lead management. The role is to work closely with the Pipeline Team and Program Staff. Ideal candidates must have demonstrated a passion for building and supporting accelerators, working in marketing operations, experience with event engagement, and be excited about innovating and driving new pipeline building initiatives.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Support

  • Onboard and train program staff as they are hired
  • Manage the quarterly kick-off and regular sourcing support calls
  • Weekly check-ins with program managers
  • Produce sourcing resources, training videos and maintain the sourcing playbook
  • Project manage sourcing timeline

Pipeline Coordination

  • Attend regional accelerator sync meetings with the greater Techstars team
  • Manage inbound leads and funnel to relevant sourcing coordinator
  • Represent Pipeline team in extended departmental meetings
  • Develop strategies for further optimization of Sourcing Coordinators

Marketing Support

  • Work closely with the operations team to send out quarterly reminder emails to past accelerator applicants
  • Create branded collateral for events and update the website accordingly
  • Maintain general interest email (Hubspot)
  • Measure pipeline campaign effectiveness
  • Manage inbound leads and funnel to relevant sourcing coordinator
  • Continue to optimize the founder pipeline funnel

Events Support

  • Work closely with program staff to plan sourcing events and collaborate with the growth enablement team to send out weekly event emails (Meet and Greets)
  • Assist program staff to create online event series (Meet and Greet Series)
  • Coordinate with the marketing team for bi-annual sourcing events (Inside Techstars)
  • Help set up virtual AMAs and co-host on behalf of program staff when not hired
  • Identify tech conferences to attend and evaluate which events provide the best leads
  • Analysis of partnerships to decide which ones to continue maintaining
  • Aid programs in finding venues and speakers within the Techstars network
  • Co-host monthly Virtual Meet and Greets

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree(?)
  • 3+ years of professional experience in an entrepreneurship related environment
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage projects from inception through execution
  • Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize organize and collaborate, especially on multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Proficient knowledge of spreadsheets, presentations and project management
  • Have exceptional professional presentation and public speaking skills
  • Demonstrated passion for entrepreneurship
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Clear and articulate communication skills
  • Good understanding of marketing CRM and lead management

  • Based in the Americas time zone

Compensation range: $70,000-75,000 + Bonus $7000
