Job Description

Wellist is seeking a driven and passionate Business Development Manager to support the rapid growth of the company by providing project management and administrative support for all activity with our sales team. The ideal candidate has outbound-calling sales experience as well as administrative experience. He/she/they is professional, scrappy, self-motivated, detail-oriented and capable of managing their workload to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. The Business Development Manager role offers an opportunity to work closely with stakeholders across all levels of the business.

This position requires adaptability to working in a startup environment, expertise in anticipating needs and delivering excellence across multiple priorities, and a flexible schedule to support the on call demands a high-growth organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creatively and proactively juggle complex calendars to secure key meetings including, but not limited to sales meetings, client / partner discussions, and facilitating internal team strategy meetings
  • Ensure materials are prepared for all growth activity discussions, track complete and accurate documentation of all meetings, decisions and actions in CRM tool (i.e. Salesforce)
  • Track and follow up on all action items to keep the team on plan for sales and revenue goals
  • Execute frequent phone prospecting and outreach to hospital and health system executive offices to secure and confirm introductory and follow up meetings
  • Execute performance reporting and provide program management support to CEO, and Head of Growth
  • Manage administrative tasks for growth executives, as requested (i.e. proofreading, frequent outreach to potential clients, coordinating prewire materials for internal and external meetings)

Position Competencies:

  • Demonstrate discretion and business judgment: Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner.
  • Experience working at a fast-paced company: 2-5 years of experience in an early stage/startup environment. Highly skilled in calendar management (G Suite, Salesforce), meeting and event planning, and travel booking.
  • Communication skills: Ability to communicate with stakeholders across all levels of an organization and articulate the Wellist value to external partners. High attention to detail and ability to independently execute on edits to communications, presentations and collateral. Conveys a warm and professional tone in all communications (written and verbal).
  • Strong organizational skills : Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail, and clearly communicating status updates. Anticipates and proactively addresses potential deliverables, issues and roadblocks.
