We’re a group of emoji loving, gif using, finance obsessed individuals dedicated to the mission of teaching people how to make more money with side hustles, save more money, and pay off debt. Were looking for a part-time virtual assistant to aid us with reaching that goal. Time commitment: ~10 hours/week

Responsibilities

The below lays out responsibilities that we see as the highest priorities at this point in time. This list may expand as time passes and the business grows.

Inbox Shadowing

  • Clearing out junk email and unsubscribing from unnecessary newsletters

  • Drafting and/or sending responses when appropriate

  • Surfacing issues to Bobby

  • Surfacing email-related questions to Bobby

  • Adding pertinent invites to Bobbys calendar

  • Generally maintaining the organization and cleanliness of Bobbys inbox

  • Moving/forwarding potential partnerships to the Business Development Manager

Schedule Maintenance

  • Keeping Bobbys calendar clear of unnecessary events

  • Making sure his calendar is up to date

  • Regularly checking in with him to ensure no scheduling conflicts between Millennial Money Man, Laptop Empires, and his personal life

  • Posting daily meeting reminders for him in Slack

Financial Assistance

  • Paying invoices for other Millennial Money Man contractors

  • Generating and sending invoices to sponsored partners and vendors

  • Working with the Millennial Money Man bookkeeper on tasks that may arise from time to time (W-9 collection and 1099 disbursements, invoice reviews, financial reporting, etc.)

Miscellaneous

  • Facilitating electronic acknowledgments of documents and contracts

  • Maintaining and monitoring the Bobbys Tasks Asana boards

  • Requesting creation of social graphics

  • Relaying info to other members of the team

  • Sending gifts on Bobbys behalf

  • Helping to cover tasks for other team members when they take time off

  • Assisting with other tasks that may arise from time to time or as your role grows

Requirements

Experience

  • Previous experience in an admin role (office management, executive assistance, operations, etc.)

  • Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc.)

  • Asana

Bonus points if you have…

  • Remote work experience

  • Familiarity with gif usage and custom Slack emoji creation

  • A passion for personal finance and/or familiarity with the blog

  • Take your work more seriously than you take yourself
