What can I do for you?
You bring me your idea and I do the rest while you sit back and watch it come to life!
I may be new to UpWork, but I’ve worked in software and product development for 14 years. I have a bachelors degree in Computer Science and enjoy using my experience and skills to help businesses stay competitive by providing innovative software solutions. I’ve worked with my clients to document and improve their business processes, manage software development projects, as well as build websites and mobile apps.
Services I Offer: process improvement, documentation, project manager, product manager, website developer, quality assurance, software testing, product development engineer, research and development, user experience strategy, translating business ideas into technical tasks, establishing and streamlining workflow processes, creating a fun user experience,
I’ve worked with start-ups, solo entrepreneurs, medium and large companies in industries ranging from cosmetology schools, construction companies, wedding and event planning, caterers, clothing boutique, e-learning institutions, social media startups, real estate, publishing company, financial institutions, and more.
Accomplishment I’m proud of: My Client, Sweetings Cosmetology wanted to offer online courses for the students in her Natural Hair Classes. I followed the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to create a software solution that was approved by the TN Board of Cosmetology, making my client the first Natural Hair Cosmetology School to offer online courses in the state of Tennessee.
Passion Projects: I believe that the work you do should make you feel good. So I always enjoy giving back to my community in various ways.
I’ve volunteered my skills as a Product Manager and a Brand Ambassador to a social media project called 1M1L. I enjoyed working on this project because the primary goal is to connect people from all over the world and encourage them to celebrate unity in diversity.
I also use my skills to help organize and promote charity events for the YWCA of Middle Tennessee. I run a committee called Circles for Change, that hosts quarterly events that bring diverse members in the community together to highlight social and political issues, how they impact our community and discuss ways we can make change by starting with ourselves.
Occasionally I volunteer at a middle school in my community where I teach 5th and 6th graders how to build websites… After this experience, I’m convinced teachers do NOT get paid enough! (=
I’m very flexible with my approach. If needed, I can integrate with your team, or provide my own team (graphic artists, extended development team, etc) to help deliver your solution.
